Warrants Issued for Roselle Woman, Vauxhall Man Wanted in Separate Domestic Violence Incidents

Newark Police officials seek the public’s help in locating **Ms. LaTrice Lewis, 30, of Roselle and Jevon Bowman, 29**, of Vauxhall, who are wanted for separate violations of New Jersey’s Domestic Violence laws.

According to police, at approximately 9 a.m., on Wednesday, September 26th, police say they responded to an address in the city where a male victim told them that he was threatened with bodily harm by a woman he knows.

Police say after an extensive investigation, detectives from the Special Victims Unit gathered evidence supporting the victim’s complaint then issued a warrant for the arrest of LaTrice Lewis. Police charged her with making terroristic threats and harassment under New Jersey’s Domestic Violence Laws.

In a separate incident, police said on Thursday, October 11th, a female victim called police after a male she knows pushed her down a flight of stairs.

Police said the woman's head was also slammed on the ground when the suspect allegedly struck her in the face multiple times.

Police identified the suspect as Bowman and said he fled the area, but later contacted the victim and threatened her.

Detectives investigating this incident developed sufficient evidence to charge Bowman and secured a warrant for his arrest on two counts of aggravated assault and one count of harassment, also under the State’s Domestic Violence Laws.

Both suspects remain at-large.
