Warrant Issued for Orange Man Wanted for Newark Burglary

Authorities in Newark have issued a warrant for an Orange man who they say is wanted for a mid-January burglary in the city.

According to Newark Police, Jalil Woodley, 19, of Orange, NJ, is wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred between Sunday, January 15th and Friday, January 20th, 2017.

Authorities said police responded to a Central Ward residence after receving a burglary report on January 20th.

Several personal items had been removed from the residence according to authorities.

As part of their investigation, detectives have determined that Jalil Woodley is a suspect in this burglary authorities said.

While police are actively searching for Woodley, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from city streets.

Authorities said that the investigation is active and ongoing.
