Warrant Issued for Newark Man Wanted for Vehicle Burglary

Newark Police report that an arrest warrant has been issued for Richard Loyal, 19, of Newark, on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and theft in connection with an incident that occurred in the overnight hours of September 16 into September 17.

Police report that officers in the area of Martens and Tremont avenues observed a vehicle parked in the area with its windshield and passenger windows shattered. Cash had also been stolen from the vehicle.

Detectives investigating this incident have identified Richard Loyal as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Loyal is described by police as 5’11” tall with black hair and brown eyes.

While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating him as part of this investigation.
