Warrant Issued for Man Who Ransacked Car in Newark

An arrest warrant has been issued for **Mr. Darnell Brown, 48,** on a charge of burglary that occurred on Friday, June 1st.

Police say the victim reported that she parked her car in the 600 block of South 11th Street at 9:00 p.m. and when she returned, she found the vehicle broken into, ransacked and personal items stolen.

Detectives investigating this incident have identified Brown as the suspect in this incident and have secured a warrant for his arrest.

According to police, Brown is 5’11” tall, weighs about 150 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes.

The investigation is active and open police said.
