Warrant Issued for Burglary Suspect who Stole Electronics, Laptops in Newark

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mr. Joseph Council, 58, of Newark, in connection with three burglaries all occurring on April 24,lth. 

According to police, the first incident occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m., when the suspect entered 972 Broad Street and removed two laptops. 

Police said the second incident occurred between 2 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. at 877 Broad Street, where the suspect removed two laptops and an iPad. 

The last incident happened between 11:40 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., when the suspect entered 4 Bradford Place and removed a television.

Police said Council is described as 5’9” tall and 160 lbs. He has a dark complexion, bald head and brown eyes.
