Warrant Issued for 19-Year-Old Newark Man for Firing Shot at Woman

Newark Police issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Joshua Barr-Clark, 19, of Newark, in connection with a shooting that occurred on Friday, October 25, 2019.

According to police, a woman was shot at in the area of Madison Avenue and South 14th Street by a man she knows following a quarrel.

Police say although the victim was not injured, detectives investigating this incident have identified Joshua Barr-Clark as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on aggravated assault and weapons charges.

Clark is described as 6-ft. tall and 185 lbs. He has a medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

While police are actively searching for Barr-Clark, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating him as part of this investigation.
