Vineland Police Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

Vineland City Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning.

According to police, officers responded to the BB&T Bank, located at 2302 N. Delsea Drive, at approximately 11 this morning for a report of a bank robbery.

Based on preliminary reports, a black male who was wearing all dark clothing, a grey face mask and brandishing a dark colored semi-automatic handgun entered the bank and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money, police added.

According to witnesses at the scene, the man was seen fleeing in a light colored Ford Explorer that sped southbound on N. Delsea Drive.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, according to police.
