Vineland Police Investigate Early-Morning Shooting

A Vineland neighborhood awoke to the scene of a shooting early this morning.

Police were dispatched to the area of North West Avenue and Fenimore Street for a complaint of shots fired at approximately 1:30 this morning.

While in route, police received additional calls that a residence in the 500 block of North West Avenue had been struck multiple times by gunfire. 

No injuries were reported from this shooting.  

Witnesses said an unknown subject wearing all black shot the residence and ran from the scene towards the Boulevard.  Police are investigating a possible connection between the shooting on Edna Driving on Saturday, August 9, another shooting on Grape Street on Sunday, August 11 and this shooting.  

No weapons have been recovered, and police are continuing to identify and interview witnesses.
