Vineland Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended

Police announced the arrest of a man accused of participating in a bank robbery last month.

On June 1st, officers were dispatched to 1748 S Lincoln Avenue (BB&T Bank) for a bank robbery in progress. 

Upon police arrival at the bank, they confirmed the bank was just robbed by 2 male subjects armed with guns who had just fled the area in a blue colored SUV type vehicle south bound on Lincoln Avenue.

Several units canvassed the area in attempts to locate the accused subjects with negative results. The investigation was then turned over to the Vineland Police Department Detective Bureau.

During the investigation follow up and through several investigative techniques, Dante C. Davis, 31, of Pittsgrove, was identified as an active participant in the bank robbery.

Yesterday members of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Vineland Police Department, New Jersey State Police and Barrington Police Department were able to locate and successfully apprehend Dante C. Davis.

He was processed and held at the Cumberland County Jail on $200,000.00 full cash bail.
