The Essex County Prosecutor's Office have confirmed the death of a Verona woman killed in what has been described as a 'freak accident' early Friday morning in Millburn.
Susan Niler, 50, was driving through the South Mountain Reservation in Millburn when around 6:35 a.m. Friday, a tree fell onto her Jeep Cherokee.
Niler was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Niler leaves behind three children.
