Police reported property damage in a shots-fired incident in a section of Newark Tuesday night.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 274 South 11th Street around 8:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found evidence that a shooting had happened, but no injuries were reported after a neighborhood search.
Police say a ShotSpotter device alerted headquarters of multiple rounds of gunfire in the area.
One unoccupied vehicle was located struck by bullets at that location.
The suspect fled the scene and remained at large.
