There were non-life-threatening injuries reported in a pedestrian strike that injured two children in Newark on Monday evening.
According to police, it happened around 6:31 p.m. in the vicinity of 1st Street and 7th Avenue.
Both children were found at that location complaining of pain after a vehicle struck them while in the street at that location.
Police say the pair were transported to University Hospital for treatment and are expected to make a full recovery.
The incident is under investigation by Newark Police.
