Police reported minor injuries for the driver of a van that crashed into a house in a Hillside neighborhood Sunday.
The Easter midday collision happened just before 12:20 p.m. near the intersection of Maple and Hillside avenues.
Police say the driver of a white cargo van lost control and slammed into a house, temporarily trapping the driver.
Utility workers joined emergency responders to free the driver and shut power down to the house.
Police say no one inside the home suffered injuries.
Elizabeth Firefighters were called to the scene to assist in shoring up and stabilizing the house.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
