A woman struck by a vehicle in West Caldwell on Thursday remains in critical condition.
According to police, at approximately 7:50pm on Thursday night, a woman crossing Bloomfield Avenue near Kirkpatrick Lane was struck by a car traveling westbound on Bloomfield Avenue.
Police said the EMS transported the woman to St. Joseph Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of her injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and was not injured police said.
The crash is being investigated by members of the West Caldwell Police Department Traffic Unit and remains active and ongoing.
