Linden Police are on the search for the driver of a car that struck two women on a street in the city on Friday night.
According to a statement released by police, the two victims, ages 46 and 65, both of Linden, were struck as they attempted to cross the street in the area of North Wood and West St. Georges avenues at about 10:50 p.m.
EMS victims transported both women to local hospitals suffering non-life-threatening injuries police said.
Police say the unidentified driver of the vehicle sped away from the scene before officer's arrival
The incident remains under investigation.
