UPDATE: Two Teens Among Three Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that at approximately 10:05 p.m. on May 24, 2020, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, responding officers located two victims, an 18-year-old male Paterson resident and a 15-year-old juvenile, who each sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.

While the two victims were being transported to the hospital, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised a third victim, a 31-year-old female Paterson resident, arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
