UPDATE: Two Injured in Paterson Shooting

Passaic County officials report that at approximately 12:48 a.m. on September 22, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 16th Avenue and East 18th Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.

Police report that upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

According to police, while on the scene the officers were advised a 33-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds he sustained in the area of 16th Avenue and East 18th Street in Paterson.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
