UPDATE: Three Victims Struck by Gunfire in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that at approximately 1:00 a.m. Friday members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Market Street and Madison Avenue in Paterson on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, responding officers located a potential crime scene and a 19-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.

A short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised a 24-year-old male Paterson resident and a 20-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
