A serious crash in Union Township early Thursday morning left three people hospitalized, including one individual in critical condition.

According to information released by the Union Township Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 6:22 a.m. on May 29, 2025, at the intersection of Morris Avenue and Green Lane. Responding officers found two heavily damaged vehicles following a head-on impact.
Investigators said a red Acura MDX, occupied by a single driver, was traveling eastbound on Morris Avenue when it drifted into the westbound lanes and struck a red Volkswagen Jetta carrying two people.
The front-seat passenger of the Jetta suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
Police say the other two individuals were reported to be in serious but stable condition. All were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, pending notification of their families.
The Union Police Department’s Fatal Accident Investigation Team is handling the case.
