UPDATE: Teen Injured in Paterson Shooting: Prosecutor's Office Investigates

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes has reported a shooting incident that unfolded in Paterson on October 28.  Ad

At approximately 4:37 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department received reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Halpine Street and North 2nd Street.

Upon their swift arrival at the scene, Paterson police officers discovered a 14-year-old juvenile who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The injured teen was promptly transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for medical treatment.

Police were also successful in identifying a potential crime scene in the vicinity.

As the investigation into this concerning incident remains active and ongoing, authorities are diligently working to gather further details.
