UPDATE: Shooting Leaves 27-Year-Old Man Critical in New Brunswick

​Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Director Anthony A. Caputo announced today that authorities are investigating a shooting which took place last night in the City.

According to police, a 27-year-old New Brunswick man was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.

New Brunswick Police responded to the vicinity of the Tov Manor Apartments, located at 99 Phelps Avenue in New Brunswick on Sunday at approximately 8:59 pm and found the victim outside of the apartment building.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.
