Police are continuing to search for the suspects wanted for a broad daylight shooting that occurred in a section of Newark Friday morning.
According to police, multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 24 Parkhurst Street shortly before 10:35 a.m.
Fast responding Newark Pollice officers arrived and taped off the area after they found shell casings and a male victim suffering a non-life threatening injury in his foot.
Police as the victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
According to police, about three suspects occupying a blue 2020 Mazda CX5 pulled up in the area and began to fire rounds in the victim's direction.
Police believe that the vehicle has a NJ license plate number "R67-MMZ" which registration come back stolen.
The motive for the shootings under investigation and the suspects remain at-large.
