UPDATE: Pregnant Woman Shot Dead in Trenton

RENTON – The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred in the city on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, at approximately 1:43 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, Trenton police responded to the 100 block of North Hermitage Avenue on reports of shots fired and people struck by the gunfire.

Preliminary investigation revealed that four individuals were sitting in a minivan with a fifth individual standing near the driver’s door when a vehicle pulled alongside the minivan and began firing multiple shots.

Police said three victims, a 22-year-old female, a 48-year-old man and a 74-year-old man, were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for gunshot wounds.

The female, identified as Manei Glover, was pronounced dead a short time later. An autopsy performed on Friday confirmed tha Glover was pregnant at the time of her death.

The 48-year-old victim suffered a gunshot to the hip and the 74-year-old victim suffered a gunshot to the neck.

A vehicle that was reported stolen and is a possible suspect vehicle has been DORIS M. GALUCHIE First Assistant Prosecutor ROBERT DISPOTO Deputy Chief of County Detectives recovered by police.

No arrests have been made.
