Police in Newark seeks the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that resulted in two victims on Friday.
Newark Police Officials say 2nd Precinct officers responded to University Hospital on a call of a man arriving with a gunshot wound.
The victim, who suffered non-life threatening injuries, was shot following a fight he had with another male outside a Grafton Avenue recreation center.
According to police, during the altercation, a 6-year old girl was also grazed by gunfire then transported to Clara Maass Medical Center by her father and is reportedly in stable condition.
After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene along with two other suspects in an older model mini-van, possibly a 2005 Chevy Venture.

The suspect is described as in his mid to late twenties, with a heavy built, mustache, beard and dread locs that hang past his shoulders.
Police say the suspect wore black sweatpants with a teal stripe down both legs, a white t-shirt with a logo across the chest and white sneakers. The second suspect is also in his mid to late twenties, with dread locs that hangs past his shoulders.
He is also described as heavy set and was wearing blue jean shorts, a white t-shirt and white sneakers. The third suspect is also in his mid- to late twenties, with dread locs to the lower part of his back. He was wearing blue sweat pants with white stripes down both legs, a blue and white shirt and black and white sneakers.
