Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 4:15 a.m. on October 31, the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Summer Street and 21st Avenue on a report of a shooting.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that police located a 31-year-old male victim from Paterson, suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was transported via ambulance to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment, PCPO officials say.
Police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area, according to Passaic County officials.
Passaic County officials said the investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
