A Paterson man is recovering after being wounded in a shooting near Summer Street and Broadway late Friday night, authorities said.
According to information sent from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, officers were called to the area around 9:21 p.m. on November 21, 2025, where they found a 56-year-old man suffering from non-fatal gunshot injuries.
Police immediately secured the scene, and the victim was rushed by ambulance to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Detectives later identified a possible crime scene in the neighborhood and remained on-site gathering evidence. Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said the investigation is still active, and additional details will be released as they develop.
