UPDATE: Orange Resident Among Three Shot in Paterson

Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 2:01 a.m. on January 1, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 20th Avenue and McLean Boulevard on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a suspected crime scene, but were unable to locate any victims.

Officials said say shortly thereafter, the Paterson Police Department was advised that three victims had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.

A 28-year-old male resident of Paterson, a 26-year-old male resident of Orange and a 25-year-old male resident of Paterson were treated and reported to be in stable condition.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
