Passaic County authorities announced that on October 12, at approximately 1:16 a.m., the Paterson Police Department was dispatched to the area of Summer Street and Hamilton Avenue in Paterson on a reported shooting.
According to Paterson Police, officers located the victim, a 47-year-old male from Paterson, with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say he was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
