The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding a multi-vehicle crash in Linden that left three adults and an infant severely injured.

The collision occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Monday, October 5, in the area of East Linden Avenue and Clinton Street.
Officials said all four injured individuals were transported to University Hospital in Newark for treatment. Their identities have not been released.
The Union County Prosecutor’s Office and the state Division of Criminal Justice are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding what led to the crash or the nature of any law enforcement involvement.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
