UPDATE: Michigan Teenage Girl Struck Multiple Time by Gunfire in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Deputy Paterson Police Chief Heriberto Rodriguez announce that at approximately 2:20 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the area 114 Godwin Avenue on a reported shooting.

According to police, they located a 17-year-old juvenile female from Michigan, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

EMS rushed the girl to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities said they located a possible crime scene in the area of Carroll Street and 12th Avenue.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
