UPDATE: Man Wanted for Breaking into Newark Storage Company

Newark officials reports that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Wednesday.

According to police, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to the U-Haul Storage Facility located at 370 Orange Street.

Police say the suspect entered the store area, broke into a cash register and removed currency.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark beard and short, dark hair.

Police say he has a heavy build and was wearing a black button-up shirt, white T-shirt, blue shorts with a white stripe on the sides and black sneakers.

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect as part of this investigation.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
