Police in Irvington are searching for a suspect wanted for shooting a Township man multiple times on Friday.
The late-night shooting happened around 11:45 p.m in the 70's block of Montgomery Avenue.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the community, and when they arrived, police found a 28-year-old Irvington man suffering bullet wounds in his hip and arm, officials said.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital in Newark, where doctors s treated non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials said the Irvington Police Department is investigating the shooting.
