Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department announced today that authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred last night.
Police say at approximately 9:41 p.m., New Brunswick police officers responded to the area of Remsen Avenue and May Street in response to shots fired.
A victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds was later identified after having been dropped off at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by unknown individuals.
