UPDATE: Man Found Shot Inside Paterson Business

Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 4:57 p.m. Friday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 10th Avenue and East 28th Street on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police located a 21-year-old man who is a Paterson resident suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound. 

Police say the victim was taking refuge in a business in the area of 10th Avenue and East 28th Street and was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

According to police, a potential crime scene was located in the area of 10th Avenue and East 28th Street.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
