Authorities are continuing to investigate a pedestrian strike that killed a man on Wednesday evening in Orange.
Police were called to the Scotland Road near Joyce Street at around 7:30 p.m. for a report of a person injured at that location.
Units who responded to the scene found the victim, Mr. Alfred Yacavino, 54, unconscious and unresponsive according to authorities.
Medical staff pronounced Mr. Yacavino dead at the scene authorities said.
Police believe that Yacavino was struck by two vehicles with one of them leaving the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
