UPDATE: Long Branch Teen’s Alleged Quadruple Murder Case to Remain Closed to Public

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office announced this evening that a judge has ordered the 16-year-old’s case for the Long Branch shootings to remain closed to the public.

According to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, at approximately 11:43 p.m., Long Branch Police received a 911 call from a person inside a home located at 345 Wall Street reporting a shooting with injuries.

Upon arrival, police found Steven Kologi,44 (father), Linda Kologi, 42, (mother) Britney Kologi, 18, (sister) and Mary Shultz, 70, (family friend), dead inside the home.

A retention hearing has been scheduled for tomorrow at 11a.m..

The probable cause hearing is expected to take place on Friday.
