Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that at approximately 2:00 a.m. today Paterson Police were advised that a 34-year-old Lodi woman arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said the victim was in the area of Market Street and Rose Street in Paterson when she was shot.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
