UPDATE: Linden High School on Lockdown After Social Media Threat

A series of threats made to the high school has authorities on the scene conducting an investigation.

Linden High School was placed on lockdown after a threat was posted on Instagram, police said in a statement this morning.

According to Superintendent Danny A. Robertozzi, Ed.D., Linden High School is currently on lockdown due to threats made against students and staff via social media.

Police are asking everyone to avoid the area of the high school as they continue to investigate.

All students are safe and police are on scene to insure the safety of the students.

Parents may respond to Cooper Field at Dewitt Street and W. Curtis Street for further information.
