Authorities in Union County are investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred late Sunday night at a popular restaurant in Linden.
According to a statement released by the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, at approximately 10:00 p.m. on November 9, Linden Police responded to a report of a fight at T.G.I. Fridays, located at 400 South Park Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found 35-year-old Erik Kuns, of Keyport, suffering from injuries caused by a stab wound.
Kuns was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators from the Union County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force, along with Linden Police, continue to actively investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
