UPDATE: Gunfire Strikes Amazon Delivery Driver in Trenton

Law enforcement officials are looking into the motive behind a shooting that injured an Amazon delivery driver in Trenton Sunday afternoon. 

Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 200 block of Spring Street around 4:35 p.m. 

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two individuals shot, including the Amazon delivery driver. 

Police said Trenton EMS and Capital Health Paramedics transported the injured to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and remained serious but stable.   

Trenton Police said they are also investigating an earlier shooting that occurred near the hospital. 

 Police say just before 2:25 p.m., shooters fired more than a half dozen bullets on Brunswick Avenue that left a car struck by gunfire. 

After officers searched the area, there were no injuries reported.
