UPDATE: Four Injured in Paterson Neighborhood Shooting

Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 9:41 p.m. on February 13th, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 12th Avenue and Carroll Street on a report of shots fired.

According to Paterson Police, upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old juvenile who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, for treatment.

A short time later, the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 17-year-old juvenile, an 18-year-old male Paterson resident, and a 20-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for nonfatal gunshot wounds.  

According to authorities, based on the initial investigation, it is believed the four victims were shot in the area of Godwin Avenue and Summer Street.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
