UPDATE: Four Injured in Clifton Mass Casualty Shooting

Passaic County officials reported that at approximately 2:47 a.m. on June 16, Clifton Police responded to the area of 39 Harding Avenue in Clifton on a report of shots fired.

Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said Clifton Police located a 3-year-old female resident suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Aid was immediately rendered to the victim, and a potential crime scene was located in the area. Clifton Police received reports from St. Mary’s Hospital of three additional victims arriving with gunshots, namely a 35-year-old male West Orange resident and a 30-year-old male Burlington resident, each suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound, and a 27-year-old male Newark resident suffering from a serious gunshot wound.

The 27-year-old male is currently reported to be in stable condition.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
