Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Willingboro Township Public Safety Director Gregory Rucker announced that two men were shot, one fatally, while in a car on a Willingboro street early this morning.
According to authorities, the shootings occurred in the 100 block of Millbrook Drive just before 1 a.m. No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing, and the names of the victims are not being released at this point.
Officials say the victims were transported to Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County and the other was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Unfortunately one of the victims was later pronounced dead.
The investigation is being conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Willingboro Township Police Department.
