Authorities in Passaic County announced that on March 2, at approximately 6:20 a.m., an off-duty New York City Hospital Police Officer was shot in the area of Brownstone Terrace in Hawthorne.
According to officials, the victim sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound on his leg and was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Officials say this investigation is active and ongoing.
