The 20-year-old driver involved in a head-on crash Sunday morning has succumbed to his injuries.
Officials today announced that vehicular homicide charges have been filed against David Lamar V. He is currently being held in the Mercer County Correction Center in Hopewell.
According to authorities, Sunday at approximately 2 a.m. Ewing Dispatch received multiple 9-1-1 calls regarding a two-vehicle crash, with injuries, in front of 1817 Pennington Road.
Responding officers encountered multiple trapped occupants in two vehicles. Police say a total of 8 passengers were involved in the crash, all of which sustained injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Charger - Michael Sot, 20, of Clark, NJ - involved in the motor vehicle collision died Tuesday afternoon as a result of his injuries.
