Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in a section of Bloomfield on Thursday.
According to a statement released by police, officers responded to Ella Street on a report of a carjacking incident.
Police say the victim, who is a delivery driver for Dominos, was delivering pizza to an address on Ella Street when he was approached from behind by an unknown person who placed a hard object, believed to be a handgun, into his back and demanded his vehicle.
According to police, the suspect fled on Ella Street and then east on Bloomfield Avenue with his vehicle.
Police say the vehicle was recovered around 1:20 a.m. the next day in Newark.
