Carteret

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Director Kenneth Lebrato of the Carteret Police Department announced today that the missing woman and her 5-year old daughter from Carteret have been found early this morning.

Officials said Sawatha Ford, 47, of Carteret and her 5-year old daughter who were reported missing by family members yesterday, were found safe early this morning at a hotel in Virginia.

Yesterday, Ford and her daughter left the Union Township area at 3:43am and headed to the Trenton-Mercer Airport, but did not board the plane. Ford was driving a white 2007 Acura MDX with plate # VPE96W.
