After 11 Months, Newark Woman Remains Missing Without a Trace

Police in Newark has stepped up their efforts in locating a woman who has been missing for 11 months.

According to a statement released by police, police are again asking the public for their assistance in locating Ms. Venika Williams, 28, who they say went missing on December 22, 2017.

According to police, Venika wasn't officially reported missing to police on January 1, 2018, by a family member.

Williams is 5'3" tall and weighs about 142 lbs with brown eyes and hair according to Newark Police.

Police believe Venika was last observed heading to Jersey City wearing a black leather coat, blue jeans, red sneakers, and carrying a red purse.
