UPDATE: 85-Year-Old Woman Struck by Out of Control Car in Clark

Police in Clark seek the public’s help with information on a pedestrian struck by a car near a bank Saturday. 

Clark officials said an 85-year-old woman and residents of the township was airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick after being struck by a car that reportedly lost control then ran off the road near Santander Bank located at the intersection of Raritan Road and Westfield Avenue.   

Police and EMS arrived and found the severely injured senior woman at that location. 

Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
