UPDATE: 61-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 9:17, p.m. on December 22, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Redwood Avenue Paterson, NJ on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival police located a 61-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained non- fatal gunshot wounds.

The victim was immediately transported to the Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
